Villa was clean, tidy, freshly decorated and comfortable sitting areas inside, but the outside seating was slightly uncomfortable. Previous reviews mention the lack of any wind blocks, which would have helped as the exterior seating areas are nearly full time in the shade and have no wind blocks, likely very nice in warmer months, but slightly chilly for winter months. We found ourselves upstairs on the balcony most mornings and afternoons to catch the sun. The furniture outside is not all that comfortable for sitting and reading, as the only area was a daybed (but it’s in the wind). We struggled with the hot tub sadly as it doesn’t get hotter than 36/37 degrees (despite putting the temperature up to 40 degrees) which during the day was warm enough, but evenings when the temperature dropped (winter months), the temp of the hot tub dropped quickly limiting its use. We raised the concern with owner, but was told that 36/37 was hot enough and nothing else could be done. Overall, had a nice stay, this area of Playa Blanca is brilliant for relaxation and the villa is nicely appointed with modern kitchen and well stocked for cooking and relaxing inside.
