We chose this hotel for its proximity to the CAT ferry, which we needed to catch early the next morning. It is very close to the ferry and therefore very convenient. When we arrived we could see scaffolding on the front of the building, so they are doing some renovations. That never disturbed us at all, though, and they are clearly needed. Our room was clean enough, but it did feel a bit dated, and it had that sort of body odor smell that very old hotel rooms sometimes have. Fortunately, it was a cool evening so we could open the windows to get some fresh air and that helped. The other thing I would mention is that the parking areas dedicated to the hotel are very small considering the size of the hotel and they did fill up. We were surprised by that.

The hotel is clean and the staff is super friendly. As a bonus being on a motorcycle I was able to park right in the front. location is two minutes from the CAT ferry. I would definitely stay here again if I am in the area.

This is an older property that in my opinion is in need of a full remodel. Our room had newer floors and the shower had been updated with a new surround, but overall it was dated. The pool area is good. Lobby area is nice.

Great location by the waterfront. Walked to various shops and along the waterfront. Nice park directly across from the hotel. A small fridge in the room wpuld be a nice addition.

When we arrived bed we were checked in and given our room card. Hauled luggage up to room only to find it had not been cleaned at around 5pm check in! Then they found us another room which had a king (not 2 doubles as booked). We accepted it as they said they were fully booked. Outside the room was scaffolding and was told work was to start at 8am in the morning and hopefully we are ok with that! Travelled most of day so had to be ok with that as there were no other options for rooms and we didn’t want to wait any longer. Wanted to shower and go for supper. The hotel is very dated. Flys and dead bugs on floor u der our window inside. Used pool which was ok except the very dangerous steep stairs down to pool room. Sauna did not get very hot even after setting it to the hottest. Beds too soft and air con unit was like a jet taking off, cutting in and out all night. No! We did not have a good sleep.

This place is very dated. We arrived in time to swim in the pool before our dinner reservation only to find that the pool was closed. Staff would not assist with opening the door or loading bags. We ended up eating in the onsite restaurant for dinner. The food was great! The atmosphere dated and like a diner. Our waitress was great though!
