The Grand is a holiday rental for families and quiet guests only. Located on River Road, it is right in the heart of Yarrawonga.
Bookings NOW Open for Summer 2026/2027. Please note, the Victorian Government has introduced a new holiday accomodation tax of 7.5%.
The Space:
This house is in a residential setting, strict noise restrictions apply. (No party noise after 10pm) Please do not book this property if you are under 30 years of age.
The Grand offers quality and comfort in every room. With 5 spacious bedrooms, 4 bathrooms, a downstairs and upstairs lounge and extensive outdoor entertaining spaces, the house is so spacious and relaxing.
The price advertised is for 8 guests, but you may host extra children (additional prices apply)
The sparkling solar heated swimming pool is large enough for the whole family to enjoy. Please note: solar heating means heating from the sun, which occurs when the outside temperature is above 27 degrees.
It faces north over the beautiful Lake Mulwala and the Yarrawonga foreshore and it is just a short walk to the Yacht club and Chinamen's Island.

All quality bed linen and bath towels are provided.
Please supply your own beach towels.
A starter kit of coffee, tea, sugar and basic pantry items are provided.

No Pets. No caravans, no campervans, no camping.
Guest Access:
We will email you 24 hours prior to arrival with check-in instructions. Property address and key details are provided when the security deposit is paid.
The Neighborhood:
We love the location:
- walk along the foreshore to the Yacht club and Chinamen's Island.
- keep walking along the waterfront boardwalk to the Sebel Hotel, Stock and Barrel Bar, the Black Bull Golf Course
The Yarrawonga foreshore is great for families.
- enjoy kids playgrounds, bike paths, and exercise stations.
Take a short drive to Mulwala, Bundalong and Rutherglen wine region.
Getting Around:
Yarrawonga, Mulwala and surrounds have a local taxi service and each Club and some Pubs offer courtesy buses.
Otherwise, walk! You are in a great location with great walking paths.

Booking Terms and Conditions:
Photo ID with residential address is required within 24hrs of making a booking.
(1) Standard Booking Cancellation Policy:
Payment of the rental deposit constitutes the clients acceptance of the Property Specific Terms and Conditions. Variations in terms are reflective of noise restrictions, swimming pools, pets and on-site parking.
Booking Cancellation Policy:
Balance of the rental amount must be received in full 28 days prior to occupancy. If not, the owner has the right to cancel the booking and attempt to re-let the property.
Cancellation of the booking by the client, deposits are non refundable unless the property is re-let for the entire period for equal value. If the property is re-let, the guest may have a credit for future bookings, or request a refund.
If a refund is requested, then a $110 administration fee will apply. Please note the 2% merchant fee and the 4% booking fee is non-refundable. The advertised nightly rack rate is the amount refunded.
Should a cancellation notice be given for a peak period booking, or a booking with less than 28 days notice, then a $250 refund administration fee will apply.
(2) Covid and cancelations:
Please note, covid cancellations will require medical evidence submitted for the cancellation request to be approved.
If you have a booking and you contract covid, the option available to you will depend on the following
(a) the date of the booking
(b) the number of guests in the original booking, and
(c) the availability for re-booking within a 3 month period
(d) the owner of the property.
If a booking cancellation request is approved, guests will be required to pay for the clean and any linen used to set the beds.
Credit notes:
You will be issued with a credit voucher for the full value paid on your existing booking. This credit will be valid for12 months at the original property booked or an alternative property if that property is no longer available.
Transferring a booking to new dates:
Check availability on our website for future dates and we will make the alteration for you.
If your preferred dates are not available, we will contact the owner to confirm if we can release the booking to an alternative property.
Please note: Bookings made with a credit voucher, or a transferred booking, the standard cancellation policy applies should you decide to cancel after the booking has been made.
Please note: Refunds will not be offered for peak periods (Melbourne Cup, Christmas, NYE, January, Australia Day, Labour Day long weekend, Easter, June Long weekend, AFL Grand Final weekend)
(3) Please note: For bookings placed via 3rd party websites.
Our Host cancellation policy on these websites is simple. The advertised nightly rack rate will be refunded, less the $110 cancellation processing fee.
Service fees, booking fees and merchant processing fees are non-refundable.
Bookings made via 3rd party websites and agents (including but not limited to Airbnb, Home away, booking, Trip Adviser and Expedia ) these fees are approx. 23%
This is 23% of the booking tariff (ie if you booking tariff was $1000, the booking fees and commissions fee will be $230)
Guest funds, will be returned via bank transfer within 7 days of receiving this payment from the 3rd party platform.
Please note: Guest funds from bookings made via 3rd party booking sites will not be returned prior to booking dates in any circumstance.
How to cancel:
For bookings made via AirBnB, Booking and Trip Advisor, you will need to request to cancel via your account with the respective website.
Please do not select ‘request’ money via the Airbnb platform, as it will be declined. We, the Property Managers receive payment from AirBnB after the planned check-in date of the booking.
How to postpone/change a booking.
You will need to request to amend your booking via your account with the respective website. Waterfront Holiday Houses will then be contacted by the 3rd party website and will accept that request.
On 3rd party websites, changes to bookings cannot be made on the day of check-in.
