Nova Inn is in a very convenient location, just outside the downtown core; taking less than 30 minutes to walk to the old town. The Inn is not luxurious, but is spacious and clean. There is only one restaurant in the hotel, but there are other restaurants nearby, within a few minutes walk. The only con I can think of is the portable air conditioner provided in the room, which was so loud that we had to turn it off during the night.

This was my 2nd visit to Yellowknife. The Nova Inn staff and facilities completely redeemed my opinion of the city. My first stay at one of the downtown competitors was horrible. I was pleasantly suprised when I arrived very late and was checked into a large, clean and well appointed room for lodging. Definitely recommended.
