Gabrielle and Thomas are ever so welcoming and kind, their hospitality is 1st class and make you feel at home. I needed an early check in which was granted but at the last minute i had to change to a late check-in due to a flight delay coming from the UK & getting stuck in Brisbane for the day so was unable to make the required check-in.I rang and spoke with Thomas who was more than happy to allow a late check-in for myself and my 8 year old daughter.We arrived late at night and got a very warm welcome,we were shown to our room which on first impressions was great and certainly didn't disappoint,my daugher was especially happy as she had her own bunk beds.We were asked what we'd like for breakfast in the morning (they do a great breakfast on the go),we chose the blueberry muffins which were amazing, the banana bread we had too was just as delicious.At the weekends a buffet style breakfast is put on and is very good and certainly does not disapoint.The rooms are clean,tidy and well kept, the grounds are perfect and well looked after.The pool is great&we certainly made use of it,even in the rain(call us the crazy poms lol)as we bbq'd in the rain too,the bbq area is well equiped with utentsils which are there for everyone to use. There is a downstairs family room with tv,dvd player, books and plenty of dvd's to choose from, dining table,sofa & coffee making facilities. WOULD 100% RECOMMEND AND USE AGAIN. Deutsche Gründlichkeit und deutsche Kleinkariertheit

Das Hotel ist neu und in einem sehr guten Zustand. Auch die Zimmer sind sauber und erfüllen alle Ansprüchen von Qualität. Auch eine tolle Dusche befindet sich im Badezimmer. Das Hotel wird von Deutschen betrieben und diese erfüllen alle Vorurteile: Penibel, sauber und ordentliche Qualität, aber die Besitzer sind nicht so entspannt wie man dies von Australiern gewohnt ist: Zum Beispiel mussten wir eine Late-Check-In Gebühr i.H.v. 15 AUD zahlen, weil wir erst um 23 Uhr einchecken konnten (natürlich haben wir nachmittags bereits telefonisch Bescheid gegeben). Da die Besitzer in dem Hotel wohnen, entstand für diese keine Kosten, aber angeblich sei der Besitzer extra für uns 2 Stunden länger wach geblieben. Der Besitzer hatte mir versprochen, dass diese Gebühr auf der Buchungswebseite aufgelistet ist und ich diese übersehen hätte. Das stimmt aber nicht, die Gebühr findet sich immer noch nicht auf der Webseite. Wir hatten das Standardzimmer gebucht, dass mit "1 Doppelbett(en) und 1 Twin Bed" beschrieben wird. Vor Ort wurde uns mitgeteilt, dass sich in unserem Zimmer nur ein großes Doppelbett befindet und wir nur dieses gebucht hätten. Aus "Kulanz" wurden wir dann in ein Zimmer mit 2 Einzelbetten zugeteilt. Der Besitzer liebt die Stadt und Umgebung und gibt gute Tipps bezüglich Ausflugsmöglichkeiten. Allerdings übertreibt er dort ein wenig - so hat er den Long Beach auf Great Keppel Island als äquivalent mit dem Whitsundays Beach dargestellt. Als Besucher beider Orte kann ich das nicht bestätigen - auch wenn Great Keppel Island dennoch ein tolles Ziel darstellt. Preislich gibt der Besitzer selbst zu, dass mangels Wettbewerb in dem Örtchen hohe Preise verlangt werden. Allerdings lassen sich günstige Reisen (als an anderen Orten) an der Rezeption buchen

Tolle Location mit netten Gastgebern

Eine tolle Location mit sehr netten Gastgebern mit guten Tipps für Ausflüge in der Region. Absolut empfehlenswert. Zimmer sind liebevoll eingerichtet, Aufenthaltsraum hat alles was man brauchen könnte. Netter Bereich mit Hängematten zum relaxen. Insgesamt Top-Sauber.
