When i booked via Expedia i forgot to book a breakfast, so i asked for a breakfast. The charge would be £40. (As opposed to £8) A / i felt that this was excessive B / not prepared to discuss or negotiate Do styles NOT want customers. I was always told about customer service. Customers are important in a service business

Ideal spot on the edge of the city( 20 min walk to the racecourse)..friendly, helpful staff, excellent breakfast...only slight downside was the small car park on site priced at £15 per night, it was very small & tight but we managed to secure a spot

The hotel had just been refurbished and it was excellent in nearly every way. The staff were very helpful and kind and the breakfasts were wonderful. For us, being on holiday for 4 nights, we could have done with some drawers in the bedroom.

I am incredibly unhappy with the experience we have had and would not recommend to anyone. We were double booked this was Expedia&booking.coms fault did not get the double room we had paid for instead an accessible twin room to which the walk in shower did not drain and water was flowing into the room. Any clothes/bags we had on one side of the room were soaked from the carpet absorbing water from the previous stay and our stay when mentioned to reception they said they would get maintenance to look at it. The conditions of this room was unsuitable for anyone to stay in.

Really wonderful hotel and even better that it was such good value for money for York. The rooms were so clean and stylish and we particularly loved how soft the towels and bedding was. Receptionist was super friendly and helpful. We will definitely be back and would stay in other Ibis Styles in the future.
