Hotels.com saved the day

The hotel was closed for refurbishment. After a long period of trying to find the property we found the building boarded up and covered in scaffolding as a building site. Very stressful for a couple in our seventies. Hotels.com staff however were brilliant and found us a room, at no extra cost, in the beautiful Novotel. So thank you Hotels.com, so glad we had booked through you and for your support in a crisis.

Terribly noisy

The hotel is quite old and needs a good refurbish, but the worst thing was the noise, it was impossible to sleep. There was a continuous noise throughout the night which sounded like a motor and a group of guys stayed shouting and laughing until way beyond 4 am.
