The Space
Our property is fully fenced, and when you arrive you'll open up the corrugated metal gate to 2.5 acres with room for 4 cars to park. As you enter our 1086 sq ft home you'll be greeted with a spacious and bright kitchen and living room with a mid-century feel. Pop a record on the turntable and crank up the volume before finding two large bedrooms with cal-king platform beds and dedicated workspaces should you need to clear your inbox before taking time to unplug. There is also a single bathroom, with a shower that includes three shower heads for a spa-like experience.

Open up the garage door and make the most of this hangout space with a pool table, ping pong table, and enjoy the colors on the horizon from the beautiful desert sunsets from the cozy couch.

Before you head to bed, make sure to take time to soak, relax and stargaze in our hot tub, and if you time it right, you just might be able to catch the moon rise!

We are centrally located to all of the adventures the desert has to offer:
- Off road trails in Johnson Valley and Landers to the north
- Short 10 min drive to the tranquil Integratron
- 20 min drive to Giant Rock
- Short 10 min drive to Highway 62 and Yucca Valley
- 18 min drive to Pappy and Harriet's & Pioneer Town
- 20 min drive to Downtown Joshua Tree
- 25 min drive to the entrance to the National Park

Guest Access

We loved the layout of the house, the comfortable beds, well stocked kitchen, great art books and wall art and were surprised to enjoy the turntable and records- a blast from the past. The hot tub was welcoming after days hiking Joshua Tree. If only it were warmer, we would have also enjoyed the outdoor patio furniture and fire place. Highly recommend this beautiful house.

Family time

Justine was great and quick to reply to any questions we had. We enjoyed our time at their home and the beds were comfy. The house is in a quiet neighborhood with really pretty sunrises and clear skies for stargazing at night. Just a heads up that you can hear the neighbouring chickens early in the morning. We got used to it, but if you are a light sleeper you may want to bring earplugs :)We’d plan to stay again in the future.

Wonderful home with great amenities

We loved the house. Super clean, comfortable, and beautiful. The outside area is so lovely and it was so peaceful to take in the desert beauty both day and night. Only one hiccup was we were notified a couple days before our arrival that the pool/jacuzzi maintenance person would be coming on their scheduled day, which was the only full day we had booked there. If I knew this ahead of time I would not have booked here. However, I could not change the booking at that point, so I requested to know when the worker would be coming. I received a two-hour time window from 8am-10am to work around, so we made it a point to leave the house and do some sightseeing (Giant Rock is a must see; be mindful the drive is a bit sandy/rocky, a regular car may struggle). However, the person had not come during the time window, and we were not notified until after we returned to the house, and were given a new window of 12pm-1pm, which was when we were planning to use the pool. This was an annoyance that impacted our stay a bit. I wish this information would have been relayed up front.

Fabulous stay! The house is even better than the photos!

From the moment we walked in, we were beyond impressed with the home! It looks wonderful in the photos online but it’s even more fabulous when you walk into the home for the first time! The space is so functional, the rooms are spacious and comfortable, the fenced in yard with the gate is a great bonus and the neighborhood is very quiet! The internet is very fast. I’d give this home 10/10 stars if I could and I will most definitely be visiting again in the future!!

Wonderful place to stay

The other reviews were right. Lovely, clean, comfortable place to stay. Lots of extra touches to make us comfortable and happy. Great communication with host. We’re very happy we chose to stay here for our visit to Joshua Tree and would love to stay here again if we come back to area. PS you can get grocery delivery from Walmart which was really handy.

My wife and I loved our stay at this property! Close proximity to the park and Pappy and Harriet’s (loved this as a venue also). Justine made sure that check-in was easy. Bed was cozy, and we enjoyed the hot tub at night under the stars. Would definitely love to come back to this house!

Amazing Spring Break Get Away

Our family booked this house for a Spring Break trip and had a tremendous time. The jacuzzi was perfect for relaxing, the bedrooms were peaceful and featured wonderfully soft mattresses and the kitchen was fully stocked with plenty of cooking gadgetry for all of our home cooked meals. With Yucca Valley and Joshua Tree both a short drive away, we had access to lots of things too! We had just the relaxing get away week we needed and would come back in a heartbeat!

We enjoy our stays here a lot! We were there in January which was cold, the heater works well and the space is cozy, clean and warm. There are some entertainment facilities on site, including a smart TV, record player, jazucci, telescope, and a fire pit which we didn't use because it seemed to run out of fuel. And there is a game room with table tennis and pool ball table, we have so much fun there! The garden is beautiful and organized as well.  Justine is friendly and nice to reach out, we appreciate that.

A++ Experience from the beginning to the end

After searching VRBO and other platforms for the perfect stay to celebrate my boyfriend's birthday weekend, we decided on Justine's beautiful home. Everything was exactly as described, the home was impeccable and the amenities were exceptional. We appreciated the little touches like the record player, the robes, and we especially enjoyed the jacuzzi after a long day at Joshua Tree National Park. The stargazing is amazing from this location. While this home feels secluded, which is what we wanted, it is within walking distance of 2 fabulous restaurants, La Copine and Giant Rock Meeting Room. Justine is very communicative and gracious. I highly recommend this home and look forward to staying here again soon.

We loved this place! It has been so thoughtfully decorated and put together. We really enjoyed all the amenities available. The beds were super comfortable and we loved the extra touch of robes available for everyone in the family.
