What if your biggest decision on holiday was beach first or pool first? Set within its own gardens near Vasilikos, Metis, is just a short walk from some of the area’s best offerings. Gerakas Beach, with its golden sand and crystalline water, is only 800 metres away, while a friendly taverna (350m) and a well-stocked mini-market (450m) mean everything you need is close at hand. 
One of three sister villas, Metis offers generous outdoor space and complete privacy, making it a wonderful option for couples, families or friends travelling together.

Inside, the aesthetic is calm and contemporary. Soft beige tones, pale wood and clean lines create a sense of peace and tranquility, with wide windows framing views of the surrounding hills. The living spaces are uncluttered and elegant, designed for long, easy days. Two flexible bedrooms can be arranged as doubles, or as a double and a twin, each with its own bathroom. The kitchen is well equipped for relaxed cooking, whether it’s a simple breakfast of fresh fruit and thick local yogurt or a more elaborate dinner with olive oil, herbs and seafood from the nearby coast.

Step outside and the villa opens up to a sunny terrace with a private pool and loungers. A covered outdoor dining area with an in-built barbecue is perfect for grilling fresh fish or souvlaki, with a chilled glass of Assyrtiko in hand. For those seeking a quiet spot, a first-floor terrace accessed from the bedroom provides a lovely place to unwind, ideal for finishing that long-awaited book or simply enjoying the hush of twilight.

The villa’s location is perfectly placed for exploring. Gerakas Beach is part of the Zakynthos Marine Park, a nesting ground for Caretta Caretta sea turtles. As well as Gerakas, St Nicholas Beach and Banana Beach are within a short drive (3km), both offering sunbeds, parasols, beach bars and water sports. Porto Roma Beach is around a 30-minute walk, with a pleasant taverna overlooking the mainland and a sandy shoreline. Zakynthos Town is also only a 15-minute drive away.

Being located next door to Aura and Aquatic means Metis could be a good choice for an extended family or a group of friends who can be near to each other whilst retaining their own individual space and privacy. The twin bedroom can also be prepared as a King Size double, please request at time of booking.
