We didn’t have any problems at the hotel everything was fine. We happened to get a room on the busy-road-side, it wasn’t horrible but it was definitely noticeable. We had to have windows open because it was hot, that of course did not help. They try….fans and ear plugs we’re waiting in the room for us. The location is great for being close to public transportation stops and super easy walking to great Old Town cafes, brassiere’s, River (Limatt) walk. We really enjoyed the location, super easy to get around and lots to see!

Very accommodating. They have a water dispenser that everyone can use. You can also make your own tea and coffee. And they will let you deposit your luggage just incase you are going somewhere.

The Marta hotel is exactly what we needed after landing at Zurich, a quick 20 min tram ride to the central stop and 3 min walk to the hotel it was the perfect place to drop off our bags and explore. The hotel is minimalistic, with no tv in the room, but we were jet lagged, exhausted and all we wanted was sleep and a place for a nap. Very comfy bed, powerful fan to keep us cool, very many great bars and restaurants nearby, fully (recommend the dumpling place) Would happily stay here again!

The hotel itself was fine, not fantastic but you get what you pay for. The neighbourhood was a bit sketchy in the evening and we made sure to be in before dark. There was something like a biker bar across the road!

Good location with close proximity to train station and Niederdorf district. Staff were very friendly and courteous. Rooms were simple with no TV’s but that was fine. Train tracks on back side of hotel made for some noise - rooms on upper floors would be recommended.

Convenient location. Was walking distance from the Zurich HB train station. Located in a great area as well. Hotel was clean and the included breakfast was excellent. Would stay here again and would recommend to others. Excellent value for the area.

We got in late the hotel did not have a 24 hour desk check In. We got our key from the front of the hotel in a locked box. We had a long day and there was no coffee or tea available. Seemed more like a back packers hotel. Room very small for the price. Breakfast was included which was good.

Excellent location for walking around

Excellent location. Really friendly / helpful receptionist. There is a hot water machine in the lobby so you can get a coffee / herbal tea or bring your own coffee sachets etc. No kettle in room.

Located in the city center, perfect area convenient to shops, dining and the main train station. Self serve coffee + tea on main level, elevator for upper rooms is helpfull with luggage. Friendly staff is at the desk until 8pm. Room was clean + comfortable, but definitely on the no-frills side. Breakfast was included but really just mediocre. Overall a decent stay mainly for the location.

I had a great experience staying at Hotel Marta earlier this week. The front desk service was friendly and knowledgeable, the hotel offered a great breakfast and coffee/tea/water was provided in the lobby at all times. My room was perfect: clean and quiet. I would highly recommend anyone interested in staying here and it felt safe for solo travelers. They even offered to store my luggage when I arrived earlier than check-in time, but they let me check in early instead.

Amazing small hotel, just enough for a quiet and relaxing night. The staff was friendly and very helpful. Our room was small but had enough space for all of our luggage and other big items. The room was clean and had all of the basic necessities. They even offer a coffee and tea station in the lobby. The location is very central and has plenty of dining and entertainment options near by. Centrally located and walkable to every important area in Zurich. I recommend this hotel if you are on a travel budget and want to be near everything in town.
