The neighborhood is home to the Irchelpark campus of the University of Zurich -- not to be confused with Irchel Park, a lovely greenspace that is open to the public. Unterstrass is also the setting for Schindlergut and Beckenhof, two city parks that offer gorgeous Limmat views. There's a variety of both Swiss and international cuisine on offer, including Thai and Mexican food as well as pizza. Unterstrass is served by several bus and tram lines.
