great hotel, clean and smelled amazing from the moment you walk in, comfortable rooms and a lot of space. The staff can be friendlier and more accommodating, we got there a little less than an hour before check in and they said they could give us a room for an additional price??? I have been to many hotels in my life and I have never heard of that before. Meanwhile someone who arrived after us got to go their room right away. Otherwise, great location and nice hotel

Zanzibar Locke is wonderful! Very kind staff who are very responsive and helpful. The property is right in the center, so nearly everything is very walkable. The room was clean, spacious, and just all around lovely. Would totally recommend to anyone visiting Dublin.

The location is very convenient, just a hop across the Ha’penny to the Temple Bar area. The room was comfortable and nicely decorated. As a female solo traveler I also felt very safe here. I appreciated the extra security features the hotel offers. When I checked in, the front desk attendant even made sure not to say my room number out loud. This was a small detail that proved right away the staff has their guest’s best interest in mind. Enjoyed my stay overall and would definitely recommend.

Staff wasn't friendly nor helpful. We asked for more towels, toilet paper and trash bags since they don't offer house keeping (maids won't come until after 3, accordingly to the front desk) , none of them were provided. We stayed for five days. Wasn't helpful when asking about buses or transportation. Directed us to outside to look at the bus stops. Overall okay. I wouldn't say it's a four star hotel. Location is great but can be loud at night.

Nice property but we were at the back of the hotel where they’re building a block of flats. Every day from 7:00am - 8:00pm they were drilling, hammering and generally making tons of noise. At night, they had a floodlight pointing at the hotel. The room was great and hotel lovely and I appreciate they can’t control building works but the air con didn’t work very well so you had to have the window open so the room wasn’t an oven. They could have told us about the works before we arrived or checked in but didn’t mention it. Oh and when you turned on the cold tap, the pipes banged!
