Very nice hotel and very clean. However, the rug was worn and some of the walls could have been touched up. Bathrooms were really good (clean and in good working order). Bed was very comfortable. Overall a good place.

excellent option near the airport; great hotel

We stayed one night in Albany after a late-night flight and I am extremely glad we found this particular hotel. It felt new, was super clean, the staff was very helpful and nice, and the room was spacious. It's definitely one of the nicer Hampton Inns I have stayed in and is top-of-class for airport hotels at this price point. The airport shuttle does stop late at night so we had to take an Uber to the hotel, but it was close enough so that it wasn't a big deal. I'd stay here again; highly recommended

Planned late arrival and called hotel to alert. Then there were more flight delays and called to alert. Both times they said, fine no problem. Arrived at 3:15 in the morning to find no rooms and a “system issue” that would not allow for check ins. Several people from the same flight were lining up with same issue. Desk staff was friendly but had to call the manager in from home to resolve. Waiting 1 hour so far and no resolution
