Maalaismainen ulkopuolella, söpö ja värikäs sisäpuolella, tämä viihtyisä lomakoti sijaitsee Towamensing Trailsin yksityisessä, viihtyisässä yhteisössä, jossa on 24h-vartiointipartiot. Puiden täynnä omaisuutta tuntuu siltä, että olet ainoa vuorella, mutta olet kuitenkin lyhyen ajomatkan päässä tärkeimmistä alueen nähtävyyksistä, kuten Jim Thorpe, Pocono Speedway, Jack Frost, Big Boulder, koskenlasku, maailmanluokan maalipallo, kalastus, kasinot ja yöelämä Split Rockilla.

Neljä vuodenaikaa rentoutumista ja hauskaa! Talvella lumiurheilu on lyhyen ajomatkan päässä. Nauti keväällä kauniista vuorikukinnoista, kun amput vanteita koripallokentällä, pelaat tennistä tai repiä lasten kanssa lasten leikkipaikalla. Vedä kesällä perhe ulkouima-altaan, lastenaltaan tai valkoisen hiekkarannan viereen 192 hehtaarin suuruisella järvellä (PA-kalastuslisenssi vaaditaan), josta voi vuokrata kanootteja ja meloja. Nauti syksyllä kuuluisien Pocono-vuoristojen majesteettisista lehtineistä. Pidä hauskaa milloin tahansa kauden aikana videopeleillä, ilmakiekolla ja biljardipöydillä!

In the process of potentially being refunded.Place is very run down and dirty.Walkway to front door had ice build up. Owner is very nice to deal with, but their cleaning crew, and maintenance person need to be replaced.Ended up spending 10 minutes in the place, called owner up to tell him booked a local hotel that was amazing and cost less.Also it is in a HOA and you need to sign extra paperwork and receive passes to stay there which is not exactly in the listing.

Was very Pet Friendly. Sadly the cleanliness of the house was poor(Blankets and dirty stained pillows thrown in all the closets, cobwebs all over ceilings, doors sticky and needed wiped down. dirty refrigerator. Deck very poor condition and lawn did not looked mowed for a year (Knee high grass and dead tree limbs and trees all over lawn) toilet seat loose and looked as if someone put cardboard under one screw. Though we enjoyed our trip these items Need to be addressed.

I will start with the positive!Bob, the property owner, was great to work with and super awesome with communication. The area/neighborhood was beautiful and we loved all of the deer hanging out around the properties. Close to Pocono Raceway and Jim Thorpe which are places we visited.Now for the things we definitely were not please with;When we pulled up to the property our excitement turned into disappointment very quickly. The property grounds were overgrown with grass, weeds and fallen tree limbs…it was awful! We had to get our parking pass and found out there hasn’t been a game room in some time, which was disappointing because the pictures in ad show one.Check-in was supposed to be at 3pm. We arrived at 3:10pm and the cleaning ladies were still there, so we had to wait until they were finished and didn’t actually get into the place until close to 3:30pm.The porch was dilapidated with boards and nails sticking up, house looked like it was rotting around the bottom and crawl space was open in one section so I am sure there were critters under the house. We walked in and saw bugs and cob webs on the ceiling and walls, glass coffee table was broken ( I sent a video to Bob because we didn’t want to be held liable). The place just felt dirty!My daughter’s “clean” pillowcase had stains on it so we covered it with one of my tshirts, no toilet paper, paper towels or bath towels. I could go on, extremely disappointed and want some kind of refund!!!

Property was unkept. Smelled of mold as soon as we walked in. Bed linens were not clean. Very little to work with as far as kitchen utensils. Deck in need of repair. Falling trees and knee high grass. Couldn’t even walk through the yard.
Next to the entrance. Probably where the mold smell came from.

Grass wasn't cut..knee high in places, tree limbs everywhere couldn't walk my pups in yard, house was not cleaned properly. Layers of dust and hair balls under bed, couch..chairs. I had to sweep before settling in. Area was beautiful and we enjoyed the environment..but the house was musty and just unkept..

The home was in poor condition. It was dirty with hair balls and a hair tie left under a chair. The beds were old and worn and when we went to get in them, dust arose. The outside was unkept with no maintenance. The lawn was knee high and a down tree was still left in the back yard. We could not use the coffee table in the living room for fear it would fall. It wobbled so badly. Make sure you read carefully to bring all your supplies…towels, toilet paper, soap, and shampoo. Other than one roll of toilet paper and some hand soap that was it. The owners were responsive and very nice but this property truly needs some love.

Dead squirrel & feces behind fridge. Outdoor area was unkept, no water for the first 24 hours. Owner had to call maintenance to fix the well issue. Owner admitted that he had an issue 2 weeks prior. Maintenance man went to the store to buy gallons of water to help get us through.

Night for hard working friends

Me and 3 of my friends spent the night here after a long day of tree clearing on a property I own about 20 min from this house . The high water pressure was perfect for making sure we were fresh to enjoy a relaxing night after working hard all day . The cabin is older but brings back memories of my great grandparents house in lake harmony . The single night available is really nice because with all of our busy schedules we can’t take a whole weekend off . The check in process was easy , email communications were clear and informative . Made the stay really easy . Thank you

Cozy cabin

We had a nice stay, although only for one night. We were traveling from New Orleans and got in very late. There is an insane amount of fog and very little lighting, so driving was difficult. The cabin itself was nice and cozy, and very clean.The neighborhood was very quiet. The only concern is that we didnt find any bath towels.

Cold and uncomfortable

We were at a two day wrestling tournament and needed a place to stay after the first day. We got to the house around 9:30 pm and it was 40 degrees. It took over four hours for the temp to get to a comfortable level. Also, I didn’t realize no towels were provided and we had to run out and get some. It was a clean place but cold and uncomfortable.

Festival

We stayed at this property to attend a nearby festival and was perfect for our needs. The accommodations were clean and the check in process easy. Two of the beds were comfortable but the third was in need of a new mattress. The deck was also in need of some attention as there were some loose boards causing a couple of us to trip while crossing it. We did not use the kitchen appliances or the cookware available at the house. The water was hot and clean and the bathroom fixtures all functioning properly. The home was also easy to adjust the temperature with the newer zone thermostats. Overall, the property could use some updates but was a great choice for our group.

Disappointing

Lacked basic things that would have made a huge difference: matches for the fireplace, wood for the fireplace, towels in the bathroom, more than 1 roll of toilet paper, a welcome packet with information, sugar, ice tray in freezer, racks on fridge door, batteries for TV remote... Rugs anyplace would make it more cozy and furniture that isn't broken (coffee table) would be more comfortable.

Value property

The property was clean on the inside and was ok for our one overnight stay. A little dated and seemed some things in need of repair The outside appearance had me a bit worried with dead trees, debris and what appeared to the beginnings of some wood rot on the cabin. Properties around this location were very nice. A lot of potential for this place. Just needs some maintenance. cabin.Properties
