Record heat wave in the area and AC did not work properly. Almost 80 degrees in the room each day. Maintenance got AC to work by the middle of each night but it was too late by then. TV glitched frequently like a streaming service with poor internet. Staff, while happy to call maintenance, seemed unapologetic.

There wasn't anyone at the front desk when we arrived nor was there any sign. The hotel charged me an extra $50, without telling me why, but later explained that it was refundable only after I questioned the charge.

Hotel was nice. However, I was deceived by the description that said the property was in Alexandria. I wish they would just advertise it as Fort Belvoir. If that was the case, I would have stayed somewhere else.

They would have received an excellent rating from us if we had had a quieter night. Our neighbors literally partied all night. It was clear this is unusual and we just had bad luck. The front desk was really responsive and did their best. Breakfast was great too!

Amazing staff. Very bright and clean room. Confused about how or when staff cleans our room; I was told to put our trash outside the door, but we were never given new trash bags, and our room was never vacuumed in our three day stay. But the staff at the front desk were incredibly helpful, polite, and friendly. Breakfast was clean, delicious, and family friendly.
