Lakeside Lodge is a great option when staying in Clemson. While just outside the campus, it’s convenient and out of the hustle and bustle. The view of the campus across the lake is awesome! The restaurant on site is delicious but if looking for something a little cheaper, there are other options right there and across the bridge. I think I like simply because I never feel like I’m in a hotel when I’m there eventhough it is a hotel.

Great hotel, our only concern was the cleaning which did not extend to under the furniture. My 13 year old daughter found a condom wrapper under a chair which was a little unpleasant! Everything else was fantastic.

Worst experience ever

Worst hotel experience EVER. First room had a sewage smell. Dragged all of mine and my daughters luggage back to the lobby. 2nd room key they gave me didn't work. Back to lobby. 3rd room key they gave me was for an occupied room and the guest yelled at me. Back to lobby. 4th room they gave me was filthy. Back to lobby. Ended with a 5th room. Spent 3 hours on a Friday evening after a long day of travel dealing with this and nothing was offered to me even though I was told a manager would be in touch. Complained on my departure day that I couldn't blv no contact or compensation offered. Said they would give me 10% off of my 3 night stay. They should have comped me for the night that they ruined! Such a strange experience...I feel an actual hotel chain would have been better

Oddly we arrived a little after 330 to be told our room wasn’t ready and they weren’t sure but would call us when it would be when check is at 4 - to get in car to go meander around to get a call 5 mins off to say it’s ready now . Odd . 2 days with maid service hanger on door - didn’t come ONCE - dirty rooms no towels called down and nothing . Never has this happened before at any hotel for CRAZY overpriced average room . No thank you.

This place was great. The outdoor facilities were wonderful. The restaurant is great option if you want to stay in for dinner drinks. We would stay here again.
