My first time stay at the Hampton Inn was ok, hence I booked it to stay the second time. I had a terrible experience. When we arrived to the hotel to check in , we were informed that the hotel has ran out of keys and we had to wait for 20 mins before the front desk checked everybody in, so he could take us to our suite. Once we got situated in the room we noticed lady bug infestation in the room, they were all over the place, crawling on me. I called the front desk person Shawn and informed him about the problem. I was told that there is no maintenance people on site to take a look at our room. Shawn told us that he can give us another room with queen size bed, switching us from the suit to a 1 queen size bed. I asked if he could give us at least the room with king size bed. He responded back- saying ' you can leave and we will refund you the money'. It was 12:30am and we had a long day. It felt like an ultimatum, either leave ( in the middle of the night, being out of state ) or suck it up and stay. I have never experienced being so dismissed and poorly treated. Very poor customer service, never returning back and will not recommend Hampton Inn to anyone. We decided to leave and went to City Express by Marriot, which was way newer and better.

We had to switch room twice. The first room was full of lady bugs. The second room still had the lady bug issue and had the carpet in the bed area soaked with water after we took shower. The third room still had a some lady bugs issue, but they said they could switch room but could not guarantee it bug-free. Breakfast room was crowded and the kitchen couldn't keep up with the amount of guests. The room has the same sliding door for both bathroom and closet. Be careful if you have small children as it can be dangerous. My 3-year old had her finger smashed from this sliding door.

My stay here was not a pleasant experience. The property is currently undergoing remodeling, which made even the check-in process difficult, and the overall environment felt disorganized and unclean. Had I known about the renovation, I would not have chosen to stay here. The smell in the room was unpleasant, and I found ladybugs as well as hair on towels that should have been clean. I requested a room change because the room was not clean. However, the initial response I received was that the issue with the ladybugs was “nothing.” It may not be an issue for some people, but it was not just one or two — they were present in the room, and even after asking for cleaning, the room was still not properly cleaned. I was surprised and frustrated by that response when I requested a room change. The location was excellent, but everything else about my stay was disappointing.

The staff was friendly. But the room was absolutely horrible. First off when i booked the room on Hotels.com my price was 327 but when i get there the price increases to 410. Then the room was filthy. The shower didn't drain so we had to stand in water while we showered. Also there were this orange bugs in the room. Just disappointing altogether. proce

Never again, my stay was absolutely horrendous. There was a ladybug infestation IN THE ROOM, housekeeping was nowhere to be found, front desk staff was not helpful in the least and the bathtub drained slowly! I will be contacting corporate because this was the single most worst hotel stay I’ve experienced in my 32 years of living.
