Staff was really nice - especially the doorman. However for the price, the rooms is ridiculously small. Last time we stayed in Paddington we had a room double the size, for half the price. The atmosphere and staff was amazing, which is why it pains me to leave such a low review. I just can’t justify the price for such small rooms.

The room was disappointing. It was extremely small, making it difficult to move around the bed, especially with the wardrobe and dressing table positioned so close. The safe was placed at the bottom of the wardrobe, but because it was right next to the bed, it was awkward and uncomfortable to access. The biggest issue was the heat. The room was uncomfortably hot, and there were no instructions for the temperature controls, which made it impossible to adjust. Combined with the cramped space, the heat made the room feel quite claustrophobic. On a positive note, the staff were friendly, lovely, and very helpful, which made the experience more pleasant despite the room issues.

Literally 2 minutes from Paddington, so very convenient. Area is safe and quite busy, lots of restaurants and pubs. Hotel is small, several steps so lugging bags around is a minus. Rooms are clean, smallish but overall adequate. I would recommend for a short stay in central London.

Inadequate window treatment (blinds, no curtains) mean the room was not dark enough at night. Plug in washbasin was broken, and the shower gel bottle in shower was empty when I tried to take a shower.
