Unbelievable

While I stood in line to check in for at least 30 minutes due to a long line— a mom was screaming at the front desk staff for ‘effing up’ her son’s bday party stay. She cursed and screamed in front of her own child and all the other children. Yet, only I seemed fazed… The parking lot company charged me for 2 nights when I was on there for 1… there is actual person to speak to or even a phone number. Just an email address that has yet to respond back to me.. And the best had to be at check out.. when a father in his swim suit with his family screaming cursing and arguing with security until the police came. Again, only I seemed fazed by horrific scene.

My husband And I reserved a balcony suite and I won’t up with bites on my neck. My husband and I checked the mattress on to find a bedbug. I reported it to the front desk and was told someone would reach out to me. Unfortunately I still have not heard from the Showboat

HORRIBLE!!! Adjourning room had a SCREAMING KID ALL NIGHT SATURDAY & EXCESSIVE YELLING & DOOR SLAMMING Sunday. Front desk staff member was EXTREMELY RUDE on Sunday afternoon.

Balcony Room

The view awesome. It was clean inside. The Kitchen counter was cracked. The Front service reps are nice and proffessional. My only problem is the Balcony room balcony is dirty. Has no chairs. Had a small table and it was dirty. Railing has bird poop, the balcony floor dirty and had cigarette butts. For the price of balcony rooms, they should have cleaning proffessionals specifically for the balconies. Besides that, we enjoyed our stay.

The waterpark and arcade were nice so we decided to stay the night there to for connivence but that was a mistake. The property is old and extremely out dated. The room was “dirty”, dust hanging from the lamp shades and the phone was filthy and stained. The shower was an absolute joke, the water pressure was like water trickling out washing my kids hair after he waterpark was a night mare. The blow dryer did not work at all. The beds and pillows were horrendous (dollar store quality). Called the front desk for more pillows and they were all out of pillows so the 4 of us had a terrible night sleep on top of other guests screaming and pounding on the door next to us at 1am which woke up me my husband and our 2 young kids. No restaurants in the hotel was such an inconvenience so we walked to the hard rock to get dinner. It smelled like marijuana throughout the whole resort as well. The one elevator sounded as if it was going to just break down we didn’t feel safe in it. Next time we will stay at a casino we know I would rather be inconvenienced than stay in a dump of a hotel. Absolutely terrible and never again will I stay there. What a waste of money

I got there a bit early to check in, then got promised that they will call when room is ready. that was at 5pm instead of the 4pm check in time. The room had cigarette burns on the bathtub, hairs on the bathroom floor. The beds utterly worn and uncomfortable. You can hear EVERYTHING in the room, very noisy corridor, door slamming, shouting, but even when everything quietened down it you could hear others flush their toilet. Front desk staff did the transaction but no customer service at all - this was a request for a 40th birthday, definitely not feel special. Tried to call the front desk, but the phones either did not work or was not picked up. The whole building is worn down. I guess if you go there to get trashed, perfect place, but definitely not for a family who wants to sleep during the night.
