Significant changes noticed since MGM took over the Borgata. I remember coming to the Borgata before MGM and it felt more of a personal luxurious experience compared to the current- get in and out treatment from the staff. When checking in, we were told that all the king rooms were booked and then asked if it would be ok to stay in 2 queens size beds instead. I usually would not have an issue and accept. But when I refused and reminded the person checking us in that we specifically booked a king and that’s what we paid for, a “phone call” was made and within minutes, our King room was available. No issues at all. My questions and curiously made me question, “why would that even come up?, I reserved a king and was told they were booked”.
