The room we stayed had a weird odor, as if it had been flooded. My husband immediately had an allergic reaction. He got stuffy, eyes swelled , red and itchy. I wanted to request another room but my husband didn't want to be a bother. It kind of put a damper on our anniversary weekend i hated watching him suffer every time he walked in the rain. I had to find allergy meds. Thats the only thing, other than that, the hotel is beautiful and had great staff esp the older gentleman at valet parking who was the only someone that acknowledged our Anniversary made me feel special

Nice room and facilities. Staff was non responsive - had to call 3 times for fresh towels , waited hours (until almost 6pm) for the room to be made up on the second day and couldn’t get room service on the phone.

This is a beautiful hotel with a friendly staff, clean rooms, comfortable beds, and a welcoming atmosphere. There is a bar and restaurant on site and the bar was quite lively for a Monday night when we arrived. Our room featured a large soaking tub, tons of space, and spectacular views of the Texas Hill Country. Would highly recommend Hotel Viata to anyone staying in the Austin area.

The staff here is excellent- We got a room upgrade and it was so spacious! The pool and hot tub are so clean and the surroundings are lovely and tranquil. The food in the restaurant is excellent! Highly recommend!
