It’s called a motel for a reason. The rooms are literally few feet away from the road with the door opening outside. Although room was clean and had comfortable beds but is was pretty noisy and it felt like bright daylight inside the room, which will wake anyone one up at the sunrise— with East facing windows.

The room was basic, no frills, but clean and served its purpose. I was supposedly given one of the newer rooms. If it was newer, that must have been 10 years ago. On the plus side, free water, coffee, and juice available in the lobby 24/7. Walkable to downtown Bar Harbor. If all you're looking for is a place to sleep and shower at a reasonable price, this place fits the bill.

Great stay

We had a great time. The property was very clean with kind staff. Great location and walkable to many spots. Unlimited water, juices, coffee, and snacks. Our only expectation that fell short was the breakfast. It was small cups of cereal, pastries, and fruit. There weren’t any hot options or protein options.

We arrived just before 9pm. The evening front desk clerk was a sweetheart and the check in process was quick. The room was spacious and clean. A little weird carpet on the balcony and not in room but it worked. Would definitely book here again. Great distance to local shops and food.

Good location & easy walk to downtown. Good option for trying to be budget friendly. Clean. Parking lot available. Unfortunately, on the ground floor the window was old & would not lock. There was no maintenance available until the next morning to fix the issue. Issue was fixed promptly the next morning, but wish it wasn’t an issue in the first place.
