We had the three bedroom top floor apartment. The bedrooms are spread out so everyone had privacy. The teenagers stayed out late and because of the layout, noise wasn’t a problem, and they were safe coming home late. The balcony is large with comfortable furniture and views of the city. Furniture is comfortable and the apartment is tastefully decorated. All rooms (including living room and dining room) have floor and/or table lamps in addition to overhead, and the rooms are spacious compared to other city apartments. We were so comfortable and relaxed. Each room has its own thermostat, so we were able to stay warm without overheating (we were there during a cold spell in November). The beds were comfortable. The kitchen is well equipped—we were able to fix a nice meal for six, and sat comfortably at the table.
Things to be aware of: There were no extra blankets (we slept with the heater on so we were warm enough); The lids didn’t fit the pots in the kitchen; There were no instructions for the appliances, so it took us a minute to figure out how to use the stove and washer, (we couldn’t work the built-in dryer but there is a big drying rack so we hung our clothes to air dry). The property managers responded to email, but there is nobody on-site, so responses aren’t immediate; Shampoo and bar soap are provided, but no lotion or hair conditioner, so bring your own if this is something you like.
Overall, we loved this apartment and had a wonderful stay. We highly recommend it!
