Barcelona Princess review June 25

Overall really nice stay. Excellent staff and location. Some building work going on and a large music festival that we were not advised about but overall good experience. Design of hotel and rooms really nice but the small details about wall quality and lack of finishing and attention to detail let it down ever so slightly but would I stay again - YES!!

The positives: large room, huge and comfy bed, good breakfast. The negatives: the bathroom design is insane: a noisy magnetic lock door that doesn’t reach the ceiling. The aircon situation is ridiculous. They clearly centrally override it and the room never goes below 23. To keep it even below 25 takes many hours. But also they take away the second key if you keep aircon running. I can’t imagine staying there in July-August.

The staff was incredibly helpful with all of our questions. They assisted us in renting bikes through a company affiliated with the hotel. The breakfast was excellent with a lot of variety.

Good Stay with your other half

We stayed here for a hen party, hotel was clean, beds were comfortable, good location, has 2 small swimming pools, restaurant, bars, staff were friendly. I had booked twin bedded rooms as we were staying 3 nights and some of the girls didn’t know each other. However upon check in they were trying to give double bedded rooms and said they didn’t confirm twin rooms - but I had confirmation via hotels.com. It was resolved in the end and got our twin rooms. The bathrooms are quite open, so not much privacy, which is fine for a couple/family but a bit awkward with friends. Some even had no doors on the toilet! Overall I would stay again but maybe with my husband… Oh and limited Gluten free options, I had a salad for lunch.

Well before making the reservation we called at the hotel that we need the room to be side by side or infront of each other as we got kids in a separate room and it would be good. We were made sure that it will be done and we can book the room. I had been communicating with the hotel via expedia messges and staff responded always postitve. On the day we reached we found out the rooms are on two different ends on the same floor. Before making reservations we also asked that we need separated invoice for both rooms and they said yes it is possible and we should speak to manager . On the day the guy at the reception was not belpful at all infact had a very changed tone . For an hour of arguments nothing was solved we were put in the distant rooms. Rest the room has good views Breakfast was good value Cleanings are at the 5 star There is no kettle in room And if you ask them empty plates they want uou to pay 3 euros as per which was ridiculous. Good points they let us check out late greatful for them Over all staff is good but i love the ladies who clean the rooms . They deserve bonus.

The Hotel Barcelona Princess was extremely good value for the cost paid. The staff were friendly and attentive especially Roberto, Ryan and Francesca in the Lobby Bar. The hotel facilities were second to none with two swimming pools, an excellent full service restaurant and wellness spa. The hop on, hop off city tour bus stopped right outside the hotel which was a convenient and cost effective way to see everything Barcelona had to offer. Our room was comfortable and generous in size. Our stay was awesome and we will definitely return sometime in the future.

Stayed here for 4 nights - great hotel lovely breakfast. Outside of the main area which we loved and transport links were perfect with a five mins walk to Tram/Metro. All of the staff were friendly and very helpful. Would definitely stay here again.

Very nice room with perfect view. View was the best. Hotel is very conveniently located close to public transport and to the beach. Rooms are nice and clean. Bedding is comfortable. I really liked this hotel.

Great hotel for tourist 👌👌

My wife and I had a very nice stay at hotel barcelona princess. It was closely located to the metro which made it very convenient to access all.parts of the city. It is also one of the stops for the hop on hop off bus which was great for us since we had several hours to kill before we could check in . Overall it was a great hotel with nice amenities and a free mini bar in the room which was replenished daily. Also, tho it wasnt cheap, it was comparable in price to similar advertised hotels.
