Staff support is lacking. They don’t answer the phone and don’t offer after hour support. On January 22-24 my family and I stayed in Loft A. The first night, Thursday, was fine even though the pull out couch is extremely uncomfortable and the lighting was very dim, especially in the kitchen. Friday, January 23 was inexcusably the worst night of our lives. Around 11:45pm we could hear our neighbors drinking and talking very loudly. Then at 2:00am!! We could hear very loud moaning. We are a family with 4 small children! All of us couldn’t get any sleep. We had a 5 hour drive back home the next morning and no one was available to help us. I felt disregarded when I reported the incident in person the next morning. I wasn’t offered any assistance or simple apology for the fact that this had an impact our children.

The staff was great! I was actually excited to stay in this room and for $161/night I thought it would be awesome! They are remodeling the hotel which is fine but I feel like they should state that with third party sites since the room #28 was being prepared for paint. That being said here are my pros and cons. Pros: Friendly Staff. Large room. Nice tub. Nice fire (low on flame but still puts out heat). Clean comfortable bed. Cons: Spackling on many patches of the walls (as if they are preparing to paint). Many chipped/cracked wall corners and pictures missing just leaving the nails exposed. Non working lights. Old shower with mold at the base. No peep hole, no outside light or window to see out if someone knocks. TV remote needed batteries. Flooring uneven and dipped in places. Was not the same room the pictures portry on the Expedia website. Pool is green and spa is clean but surrounding area is uninviting and old. Front door has paint tape and was in the middle of being prepped for paint. Overall for the price I was bummed. I've stayed many places in Big Bear and for this price I feel the room should have at least been painted. I can't comment on the breakfast as I was woken by the staff because the electricity went out in half the building and the breakers were in my rooms bathroom. I was just ready to leave and take a loss as I didn't feel it was worth $950 for 5 nights.

I got a room here for my birthday and everything was amazing. i stayed in a newly remodeled room and the jacuzzi tub and fireplace were great. Gina was also super friendly and helpful at check-in, loved her service!

Friendly staff, room was pretty cleaned. Walls are super thin, could hear our next door neighbors TV all night and kids crying. TV remote didn’t work. The continental breakfast is pretty much coffee and frozen pastries, which pastries ran out. Overall, it was okay for our 1 night stay.

Staff was helpful before and during check in, property looked clean all around outside, you could tell the rooms were old and could use some TLC / upgrades. I booked the spa room hoping to enjoy a jacuzzi tub but it was full of rust and corroded around the jets so I didn’t feel safe using it, I was super bummed.

The hot water in shower was not hot. warm at best. The bed was like a rock. The pillows were very hard and too large. Woke up with sore neck both nights.. We got a room with a fire place. They charged $15 for fire wood. I would think it would be included with a $300 a night room charge.
