It was noisy most of the night with loud traffic, like loud motorcycles or hot rod trucks. Gun shots in the area, restaurant was fancy, good food but really expensive. Breakfast restaurant was fabulous! Loved the valet parking.

Great downtown hotel within walking distance.

Beautiful hotel conveniently located downtown near lots of restaurants and shops. The restaurant Ten located in the hotel was delicious and I highly recommend it!

Very nice hotel. Excellent customer service. Parking garage. Robes in the rooms. Comfortable beds. We sadly didn't like our food at the TEN restaurant. I wish we would have had a chance to eat at the diner instead.

My Go-To Billings Hotel

This is my go-to hotel in Billings. Centrally located so there are many food options, and shopping is convenient. It’s not far from the medical centers as well. This is a comfortable, well restored historic hotel. Parking is next door and valet is offered.

Best Place to Stay in Billings!!

We loved the ambience and location downtown . The complimentary valet service was a plus. Rooms were clean, super comfy and quiet. We did dine on site in the Lounge. The food and service was excellent. We've both worked in hospitality and The Northern exceeded expectations on all levels!

First, I was able to valet my car, always a plus. The lobby is large, clean and welcoming as was the front desk. Check in was quick and I was given A $10 off meal credit in one of the two restaurants in the building (which I did not use since it wasn’t good for room service). The elevator was incredibly small and worn. The room, while quite small, was cozy and warm with an upscale Montana vibe. The place is older/worn a bit, but I didn’t mind. The water pressure was excellent as was the hot water temp but I didn’t care for the orange scented vanities. I ordered room service: beef short rib with vege and whipped potatoes with bread service (a side) and unsweetened ice tea. It was DELICIOUS. Service was quick and the bread service was well worth $7. Heads up: they add gratuity on to the hill, but I was unaware and tipped cash. The breakfast — different restaurant— was mediocre at best but I think would be good in person. Bed was comfortable, tv was easy to operate. Great stay.
