When passing through Birmingham, I have often stayed here. It had always been clean and quiet. I've never used the pool or exercise room and rarely eat breakfast there. Only minor issue IMO is the low flow showers.

Nice place but show up late in the evening

My only complaint is that when we tried to check in, after 4 pm (check-in was at 3), our room wasn't ready. After a long travel day with children we had to load everybody back up and find something to do. Instead of the extra time spent waiting in Birmingham, we could have driven longer and made it close enough to our destination to not need a hotel for that evening.

Weather worried

Just an overnight for business. Stay was during bad weather and i am from an area where it gets bad fast. May want to think about a better plan for bad weather than "i can put you in the laundry room if i need to" because telling me several times "mam we dont have tornados" when we were under a tornado watch and i am from tornado alley doesnt sit right.

I brought my daughter up to see her specialist in Birmingham. My mother also came with us. Pros: - Convenient for price - Quick breakfast - Microwave/Fridge in room. Cons: - Rooms are too small (ok for solo/couple but no more than 2 people). - Bathroom is small (not designed for children. I had to pick my daughter up to use the sink). - Sheets & comforters were stained (bring your own). - Pool was closed (staff said it doesn’t open for the season until the next Monday, which was disappointing).

Not a repeater hotel.

Our stay over all was ok. Thankfully we just needed a quick one night stay. Had it been a more time we definitely would have been miserable. The room and hotel was clean. But the room had a stale smell to it. The air conditioning system didn’t cool down the room. My son went to wipe the mirror in the bathroom and it sliced his finger wide open. The glass is separated from the frame but you can’t tell unless you get right on it. Or in his case accidentally hit the edge of it. The breakfast we couldn’t eat it. The waffles had a weird taste to them. The staff was very friendly. Quick check in and out. But this will be our one and only stay here.
