If felt like the 2nd floor was going to fall in on us. You can also fully hear conversations from the room next door and they were talking in normal voices. The front desk lost our reservations and blamed us and Hotels.com. I really was tempted to sleep in my car but it was too cold. I would never ever consider this property again.

I booked because it says full breakfast. It turned out to be continental breakfast with waffles. The heater won’t work at the room they first assigned to me. After they changed the room for me, it was too noisy that I couldn’t go to sleep, and there was no timer for the heater. I had to turned it down to go through the night under 30 degrees.

Great stay

The staff was very friendly. The only problem is there’s an elevator so if you’re on the second floor, you have to bring your suitcases upstairs.

The room was stuffy. The air conditioner with either alwayson or off. There was no automatic control. After catching five fish at the local lakes, I found that there was no community freezer in which to store the fish at the hotel. I asked the desk if I could use their freezer, and they said it was full of milk and condiments and such. Five fish barely fit into the room freezer of the refrigerator. The next day I caught three more fish and had no place to put them. I asked a different person at the front desk if I could store them in the freezer, and he said that he could accommodate that. All I had to do is put my name and room number on the bag. So apparently the first person at the desk that I had talked to was referring to the refrigerator instead of the freezer. But there was still no obvious community freezer in which to put fish caught locally. Other hotels that I have stayed at in Bishop offer that option.

This property is right downtown. The benefit of that is you can walk to a really nice park and there are tons of food choices. We got fresh bread at Erick Schat's Bakery which was fantastic and had a nice dinner at Holy Smoke BBQ. The negative is that there is road noise and the rooms could use some updating. A standard continental breakfast was offered. The ice machine was broken when we were there and my partner did not love the TV offerings. There is a filled in swimming pool that has been turned into an outside courtyard with a BBQ grill. No other amenities. If you just need a place to sleep and use as a gateway for other places, this works. Check out the railroad Museum in Laws if you get a chance, it was really neat for a small town location.

Room was used and dirty I didn’t spend the night

I didn’t use the room. When I walked in the room wasn't serviced the beds were used like someone was recently in the room. Mold on the ceilings and ants on the a/c unit and beds. I didn’t stay the night I was given ant / roach spray used it and ended up getting sick due to the smell.
