Front desk staff are absolutely terrible Owen has no people skills and very unprofessional. When asked for pool towels, he seemed as if residents were being an inconvenience when he was doing nothing but sitting on his phone. The older lady that lives at the hotel is very unfriendly”as well. No greet or smile at all. The only people who were pleasant and awesome was housekeeping. Violet and other housekeepers are jolly in the morning and do a wonderful job by providing prompt service.

No screens on the room window so that you can open and leave it open at night. Management said that screens are ordered. Ac was extremely noisy and dirty, but once brought to their attention, administration had maintenance there, cleaned it and remedied most of the noise. Excellent service man.

Checkin went ok. James who checked me in was not friendly. Was rude in answering my questions. I felt like i was interrupting his quiet time. When he gave me my keys i almost said to him, its time you find a new job, but i didn't! I have been in sales, marketing and customer service my whole life, if i had an employee act like he did he would be fired so fast! The room was very dirty especially the carpet. Did not want to walk around barefoot. Entrance to hotel is very trashy and dirty. Paint chipping off outside of building and big chunks in rooms! The facility needs a lot of work done to have me come back.

Do not recommend. First thing I notice was the dirty carpets in the hallway, The stairs had mud on them. We stayed 2 nights. We arrived Friday at 4pm and left sunday at 11am. The mud was never vacuumed. When we first got into our room there was only 2 pillows. We requested extra pillows right away, Around 10pm when they never showed up we called the front desk. We were told they had none cleaned. The kids went to the pool and there were no towels. When we went to the front desk to request more towels they said they would bring them to the room when more were cleaned. We never saw those either all weekend. Saturday morning my kids when the breakfast area. They wanted waffles but the mix was gone. The person staffing the buffet told them he wasn't making any more waffle mix. When we returned to our room saturday we saw housekeeping just a couple rooms down. We requested towels once again. They said they didn't have any cleaned, but would put some in our room. Those never showed up either, I could go on more but just do yourself a favor and stay elsewhere. Thanks

Racist GM

While in Bismarck for eye surgery, I was billed $250 for smoke in the room. No maid entered my room during my stay, and only could have after check out. There was no smell iIN my room, only in the hallway. The GM is a dummy, who sent someone to smell under my door, calling it her “due diligence “. I do not smoke, AND I’m a Platinum member who have stayed at this BW many times over the years. Note I was the only BLACK person in the Hotel, I’m saying the GM is a racist idiot, who should be fired!!!

Possibly the worst hotel in Bismarck.

The lobby and all the hallways smelled awful. The carpet in just about every area I went to was stained. The bed linens were stained. The bathroom door would not latch. The bottom hinge on it was rusted and it was a hollowcore door and the wood was literally falling apart. When I laid down on the bed it made an awful clunking sound. The comforter was thin and both my wife and I were cold during the night. The hot tub heater was broken. The cushions on the pool loungers were worn and there were loose threads. Every single surface I touched felt dirty and sticky. The doorknobs on the room door, the doorknob on the bathroom. Every single surface in the hotel was gross. There was a bone from babyback ribs on the stairs down from our room. Our room keys both stopped working. The electronic lock on the side entrance didn't work on several instances. The bathroom near the dining room still had urine in the toilets from the previous night at 7:30am and the entire thing reeked of urine. The paper towel dispenser was not functioning and they just left a roll of paper towels with the plastic center that was clearly designed for the dispenser on end on the bathroom counter. Only one soap dispenser worked. The door handle was sticky. The free breakfast seemed to have been contracted out to another vendor called Gangl Hospitality and was surprisingly good. I will never stay here again.

Air conditioner knobs did not work properly, fridge did not work , cable shut off and would not turn back on , room was very dirty , there where cracky people in the hallway and outside trying to bum cigarettes. Bedding seamed clean and i was only there for one night for out of town work was only in room for 9 hours

Rented two rooms: 1 room had cat hair all over the floor. 2nd room had a leather chair that was torn up by a cat or dog. It looked like a chair that some one found in a ditch by a road. The shower had two shower heads and one of the heads had the control knob broken off. Front desk staff helped with changing rooms to a clean room from the animal hair covered room.
