Check in time was 4 pm. We arrived at 5:30 and our room wasn't available. We got our bags together and were waiting in the dining room. The front desk employee told me she had switched our room so we could check in. We got to our room and it was set up as a room for guests with disabilities. The shower was a no step shower. The water ran all over the floor. Housekeeping replaced towels one day but didn't make the bed. The next day the bed was made but we didn't get any towels. The smoke alarm went off one morning. Rather than turn the alarm off, the front desk clerk stood in the lobby apologizing and explained that someone had burned some toast. Lots of room for improvement.

Staff at desk were courteous. I had called ahead to have the two rooms that were booked by me to be nearby if possible, was told a note was made about my request. Not sure if it was because when we arrived desk clerk didnt seem to know about it and it wasnt possible to get the rooms near by. Which we dealt with. When we got to our room my husband tried to turn on the tv. Nothing worked and no directions anywhere to show us how to use. I ended up going to front desk and clerk tried to explain i had to use my phone and wifi. I did try to do this to no avail. Not everyone is tech savy or has phones to do this stuff. Shame on the hotel to expect patrons to have to do this just to watch tv! I get them wanting to save money but there must be a better way! I was surprised how rough the grounds around the hotel looked. Between the all the weeds and garbage around the building it didnt put out a very nice appearance for a hotel. My husband and i stayed at this hotel last October and it was a pleasant experience, not so much this time. Sure hope it gets better before we come to the area again.

Went down Friday for a funeral on Saturday. Walked in room & carpet was raveled. Otherwise room was satisfactory until the next night the tv connection went out. Was late so alerted front desk next am. Sunday eve washed clothes & sat in dining area to watch tv but unable to change the channel, however in room tv working. Have stayed here before with husband & was very satisfied. Breakfast was good along with staff about leaving towels but no other service. Construction area not a problem.

Family trip to visit family in the area. Although the hotel is going through some updating, the pool needs some attention. Our room was large, enjoyed the full size refrigerator, and the location was perfect for visiting family and other attractions nearby

The property was under construction (one of the floors, plus the access road leading to the property.) Our room was clean and breakfast was great! But it still was an obvious construction zone. I'm sure it will be beautiful when the construction is finished. I would stay there again.
