We chose The Richmond because it is a short drive to the Kinneil House, which was on our list of historical buildings to visit. We highly recommend The Richmond, for its charm, excellent food, friendly and helpful staff.

Arrived and I had booked through hotels .com booking did not show luckily they had a room albeit a small twin room my booking was a quadruple room although not needed but I always book big as I need a double bed Reception staff were great though Breakfast does not get served until 8 which is way to late for workers Shower was very small in 6”2 17 stone I had to shower with door open Evening meal was as basic as they can e ended with fish and chips On the whole lively friendly staff and I will stay again

This place is fantastic. Great breakfast. Great bar. Good service. The only thing letting it down is the slimline beds. They are comfy and I had a great sleep. But anyone with broad shoulders will struggle.
