This was a very clean and peaceful place. Not much at all to do around the area. There is a boat launch if you have a boat. Weeds with pickers in the lawn was frustrating and I would bring a camping hammock if I went back. Very peaceful. At night it was a wall of darkness and ehen the fire flies/lightning bugs come out it looks like Christmas lights.

A clean and nice property with calming river views. The neighborhood was was quiet and relaxing. The fire pit was a nive plus.It was comfortable to hang out and yet still convienent to fishing and to run into town. Owners were easy to work with and prompt to respond.

This is our 2nd time staying here. We really love it. We have family in the area and just love the location to Dale Hallow and Lake Cumberland. We plan to stay at thanksgiving if available. Just bring your pillow from home. That's the only issue. LOL.

We were looking for a low key, pet friendly get-away and this property certainly fit the bill. We enjoyed the beautiful scenery along the Cumberland River and relaxed around the spacious fire pit. Even though it rained much of the time, it didnt stop us from having a great mini-vacation! Thanks Harvey and Mary!

We really enjoyed our stay, and could not be more pleased. The house is very clean and well equipped, the rooftop patio has a beautiful view of the property and river. We went fishing, bbq’d, the kids loved the wide open yard to play, and the fire pit is so nice at night. Just a great place to be close to nature, see all the stars at night, and spend time with family.
