Extremely clean, given options for room (front/back and first/second floor. Professional desk person - easy check in. Excellent restaurant just a walk across the parking lot with Northern Michigan whitefish and walleye on the menu.

Don't pay cash deposit

My husband and I stayed at this hotel for a funeral. Paid cash and cash deposit. When I went in to check out at 10 am. There was no one at the desk. So we had to leave to go the funeral. We came back to later to get our deposit back. They refused to give us our deposit back claiming we smoked in the room. Which we absolutely 💯 did not smoke in the room or on balcony. We smoked in our vehicle! I will never go to this location again nor will my family! I'm so pissed 😤 don't pay cash for a room there cause you will not get your deposit back. The manger refused to talk to us

We've stayed at the econo lodge before. Comfortable beds there's a store directly across from motel for beer liquor and food. Very convenient and friendly staff
