convenient for airport

Pros: convenience
Cons: food
Location: near airport and large drive in shopping complex. motel with diner rather than hotel. you need a car because bus stop a fair walk. (no bus at all Sun)
room good. food not so good. we ate in town. we had no car which you need because this is a motel with diner not a hotel. shops hypermarket and restaurants nearby all drive in. bus service good but a fair walk to stops and there no buses at all on a Sunday. 20 minutes on the bus into Carcassonne centre.

good value budget hotel

Hotel is located at outskirt of Carcasonne, you'll need a car or taxi ride in order to get into the old town. It's a good value budget hotel and the room is surprisingly spacious compared to centrally located hotels we stayed in the past few days.
