Breakfast? There was nothing, not even coffee. The room smelled bad, the bathtub was peeling, and the floor was very dirty, especially around the bed. I easily saw dead bugs.

Spacious rooms, the pressure from the shower head is strong, it feels like a water massage, feels good. The coffee is perfect, not watered down. The continental breakfast has delicious biscuit and gravy. Channel selection offers a good range of options to watch. Washer and dryer on site is convenient.

I have stayed at this EconoLodge in the past and it was OK then. They have done a lot of remodeling recently and it Very nice for an inexpensive palce to stay in Carlsbad. Carlsbad is seeing an oil boom now so it about as costly to stay there and it is in Austin.

Staff was very friendly helped out with what we needed in our room. We felt safe being there and loved we had great night sleep. The beds were so so soft and comfortable. I would recommend to stay, we don’t know when we will be back but we will stay here again! Thank you!

Unfortunately, this is one of the dirtiest rooms I’ve stayed in. It was convenient while traveling to Carlsbad caverns with several dining options near by. It looks like the owners have made attempts to revamp the exterior of the property but unfortunately they fall short with the interior of the rooms. We arrived about 10 and did call the desk to let them know the room smelled of smoke so we wouldn’t be charged and they offered to move us. It was late and my kiddo had already fallen asleep so I declined. But quickly regretted not asking for another room. The age of a property can be overlooked but not cleanliness!

I had made reservations for Thursday and Friday but had to leave urgently on Friday morning I didn't even have time to let the front desk clerk know about my check out . Breakfast was very unsatisfactory there was not but 3 biscuits in warmer the gravy was pretty much gone and what was left was dry the pancake machine was something to look at because all a guest had to do was wave and watch ur pancake be made but after waving and waving at it nothing came out , there was no one in kitchen to let know. I had to go to the front desk and let him know that there was no batter to make pancakes. He was very kind and fixed it but still only 3 Minnie pancakes where made then again same problem no more mix. I decided to just have a pkg of oatmeal and went about my morning. I didn't get to enjoy my lil vacation like I planned because I so urgently had to get bk home to Odessa. I checked in late Thursday evening and left early Friday morning, lost my money on the room that I didn't even stay the 2 nites. Hopefully I'll get to try my vacation again next month.
