All of this with the rugged Pacific Coast just a short walk down the street, perfect for an after dinner stroll. Carmel by the Sea with its long history of being an artist’s colony has left it today with so many art galleries to stroll and enjoy.

You never need to move your car to enjoy the sights and happenings of downtown! But if you do decide to venture out, Point Lobos state park is just down Highway 1 (Big Sur about an hour further). Or enjoy the world famous 17-Mile Drive, Laguna Seca Raceway, Monterey Bay Aquarium and Cannery Row area.
