The staff working here are really nice. It is right next to the interstate so it is very easy to get on or off. It is loud but this did not bother me because the unit fan drowns out the noise for me. The hotel offers free ear plugs for light sleepers which is nice. The grounds themselves are clean- but the area surrounding the grounds have a lot of litter. The water has an orange tint which I think is due to minerals? It smelled metallic so I only drank bottled water and only gave bottled water to my dogs. You will see in the toilet the orange color of the water and it has stained the bottoms of the shower curtains. The room and linens were very clean. There is an Indian restaurant right by the hotel. I did not eat there but it is very convenient and there is a post office right across the interstate. About 5 miles from the hotel is a grocery store and pizza place. There is a mobil station right at the hotel location as well.

For the price this was pretty good. I really liked the fridge, microwave and laundry basket. It’s pretty homey. I loved the price too. Internet was good and I was able to work from my room. The breakfast wasn’t the best but it’s like any cheap motel.

First the good. Check in was easy and quick. There was plenty of parking and it did feel safe. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. Now the not so good. This is an old property that someone has attempted to update. The problem is the renovations were done very sloppily. If they dripped paint on the new floor it’s still there, if they had extra grout for the floor tile, they didn’t wipe it up…they just left it. The water was also an issue. It smelled so strongly of iron, I could not brush my teeth with. Along with that smell, the air freshener they used in the room was so overpowering that I woke up with a sore throat.

The room was clean and spacious, but was very noisy due to the proximity to the highway. Breakfast included fresh scrambled eggs and sausage, along with the other usual items like yogurt, cereal, toast. Coffee and tea were available in the lobby, and the staff were pleasant. Aside from the traffic noise, it was very nice for the price.
