Great place and location for Historic Downtown Charleston. The rooms are completely remodeled and super clean, quiet and walkable to many restaurants and shopping locations. The parking lot is on hotel grounds (parking is hard to find in downtown) and absolutely loved breakfast options in the morning, coffee Arnold Palmers, Cucumber water ready when you come back from shopping, wine and cheese late afternoon and cookies at night. The staff makes you feel like you are home and almost more bed and breakfast than hotel.

dated, but I would stay here again

The staff were amazing - helpful, friendly, responsive. The breakfast, afternoon charcuterie & evening cookies were unexpected & appreciated treats. The room was small & dated, but the linens were clean. It appeared some rooms were being renovated while we were there, so it might be worth asking for an updated room. The location is perfectly situated for walking to the market & most of the best eating & shopping in town.
