Property is clean but because the property is so close to Harrah’s Casino some people are not respectful of others when coming in or out and making noise all through the night. Not really a place to get a decent sleep.

The room was outdated and nasty. The comforter was dirty. When we looked behind the bed, we found nasty boxers, a sex toy and dead bugs. It smelled and was very dusty. I will NEVER stay here again.

The only drawback was the fact we didn't have any hot water and the bath tub wouldn't drain but otherwise it was a great place to stay. Staff was superb and helpful. Rooms were very clean and beds were extremely comfortable.

The property is way outdated and over priced .. mold on shower curtain, blood on wall in bathroom , no lock on outside entry door ( just a hole)Rooms needed better lighting . . Stairs and sidewalk nasty .. won’t ever stay there again . Breakfast was not very accommodating.

Hotel looks old and run down from the outside but surprisingly clean inside the room. Sink and mirror area had been renovated but bathroom itself had not. Beds seemed smaller than full size but we made it work. Can’t beat the location directly across the street from Harrah’s Casino.

The beds in our room were very comfortable but the rest of the furniture could stand to be updated. The entry door didn’t seal very well as you could see daylight shining through which might be the reason we found a palmetto bug crawling around in the room. The breakfast was nothing to write home about but was ok. They offered cereal yogurt and coffee waffles and fruit. We wanted to swim but the weather was not so good but it did look like they were just opening it so it was still cloudy. I would give Days Inn Cherokee 3 stars.

Not as advertised

The pictures of the hotel and property that were shown online when we were trying to select a hotel were absolutely not of the hotel we stayed at. They were either pictures used from another Days Inn or images used from the casino's hotel across the street. The room was musty and there remained a lingering humidity in the room while the weather outside was nice and there was no rain. Housekeeping never once stopped by to supply us with fresh towels or take out trash. There was still dirt left on the bathroom floor. Grout work around the tub was crumbling and in some places just gone. We also kept getting random calls on the room phone with nothing but a beeping on the other end. I will say there were not issue with bugs or critters so that was a plus. Unless you are on a tight budget, do yourself a favor and spend a little more money for one of the much nicer hotels in the same area.
