I extended my stay one day and went to the front desk to make sure reservations were merged for continuity. They said it was all set and that I only needed to get my room key reprogrammed after noon between the two reservations. That was fine to me. Around that time period the next day, I was showering and received a call from security asking why I wasn’t out of the room. I explained what I had set up with the front desk, unsurprised my arrangement hadn’t been communicated fully. He said I needed to get it handled, ignoring that I had just said I did handle it. I returned to finish my shower, and barely out, in a towel and wet, a second security guard banged on my door and said I needed to leave the room. I told him I just spoke to security and had the whole thing worked out the day before. He didn’t care. He said I needed to check out and work it out downstairs. Furious over the incompetence, rudeness, and lack of communication all around, I checked out completely and will never stay at this hotel again.

I was extremely disappointed in the facility. There was no hot water in the shower for our entire stay and the only thing they did was send a maintenance man up to tell us to run the water longer. Also, the refrigerator would freeze drinks even at the lowest setting. I also don’t know if the breakfast was free or not

Good clean room, awful bathroom/shower. Non existent water pressure in the shower and no hot water. Hallways are very dated and smell like it as well. Security is required at the door to not let in unwanted guests however will harass you if you are hanging out in the lobby.

Front desk was very professional and the room was very tidy, including the bathroom. Staff allowed us to check in early (no fee, if room is cleaned and available, prior to standard check in time.). Overall, not a bad selection based on location and proximity of all the sites to see. Quiet side of Michigan Ave. Rooms lag leg room between bed and heated fan. Bathroom toilet room is small and not really savy for bigger broader shoulder men. Shower head could use a CLR cleaning and drain could use some service to allow water to go down appropriately in stead of going down slow. Subway noise could be a deal breaker for some expecting a quiet night, but not a deal breaker for me. TV is garbage overall, its quality of definition was horrible when it came to watching the bears game, upgrade the BR toilet room, shower head & TV. worth staying though.
