We had booked a king size bedroom. Upon check in, the hostess informed me they overbooked. Due to the inconvenience, they gave my wife and I a queen size room at no charge. WOW! What service! Before we could question, why? Holiday Inn provided a solution on the spot. Leaving my wife and I asking, what did you just say about the N/C? Talk about preempting a problem with a solution. That is customer service. Expect us to be returned customers.

the parking garage next door does not offer a discount, for 3 days it was $120, the water pressure in the room was awful and the rooms were extremely small.

The hotel is in a convenient location within a five minute walk to a metro station. There are many restaurants and shops near the hotel. And the Magnificent Mile is just a stone’s throw away. However the hotel itself needs to upgrade its facilities with more modern items.

We called the hotel a little early and asked if we could check in early, we were told yes, so got to the hotel 30 minutes before check in and was told we couldn’t check in. So we hung around and waited. We wow to check in at 3 and was told the room wasn’t ready yet. So waited a bit more. Finally checked in, and went to our room. We were given the handicap capable room, which is fine, just odd. Our keys worked to get in, but when we left and came back they didn’t work. So we went to the desk to get them fixed and came back up, they still didn’t work. The fridge isn’t cold and the shower makes a mess everywhere with no water pressure. Not the best experience.

Me and my husband spent 5 nights at the Hotel and we were so comfortable. The mattress and pillows were really comfy, the room was cleaned everyday (we’ve been in another brand hotels and they don’t clean at all). Breakfast was good too, the have the same different options everyday. When I come back to Chicago I will definitely choose Holiday Inn Express again.

I was here for about 43 days and i will tell you its a great location, one block frim magnificant mile food and shopping. Transportation is only a block away from bus and train.frint desk is very helpfull amd always willing tonheld if need be, very friendly. Breakfast is pretty solid, eggs, cinnamin rolls waffle maker , beef and turkey sausage as well. Def recommended this for a great price amd great staff..rooms are very clean Cons Room are a bit small but if its only two people its definitely doable. When i was here for the long stay housekeepi g can be very loud if yourbteying to sleep, if your sleepi g late letbthe frint desk know so u wont be awaken earlier than planned. But housekeeping is very friendly and on top of things I appreciate the hospitality and the employees is what makes this place, even from the doorman. Def will be my stay when i need it
