We stayed here recently on a trip to Chicago. It’s about halfway between Chicago and Augusta, GA where we live so we stayed one night on the way there and then again on the way back. The hotel was great. Clean, breakfast included, everything we expected from the IHG name. The real highlight, however, was the staff. Kenny, the night clerk, made us feel welcome and had us laughing immediately with his humor. He also assured us that he would make sure our reservation was not canceled when we arrived later than expected due to inclement weather on the return trip. I did not catch the morning clerk’s name, but she was great as well. She gave my dogs treats and pets and made them feel welcome too. Five days later, when we were checking out in the morning, she saw me with the pups and remembered them by name! The food service ladies were also very friendly and pleasant. We will be back if we find ourselves in the area again. Highly recommended!

Upon check in, I was told the room I had originally reserved was not available but they had something else avail. I agreed to when making my way up to my room that elevator had a puddle with a strong Urine smell. When I got my room, I noticed the chair and floor was covered in dog hair.

I booked a handicap accessible room for the walk in shower because the website didn't show a walk in shower option. After using the room we booked, water went allllll over the bathroom from the shower. I went to the desk and they immediately made arrangements and put us in a great room with a walk-in shower. They were so prompt at making it right. Very happy.

The gentlemen at check in was so friendly and nice! He was personable. The room was clean, hotel in a good location by Cracker barrel. The lady at check out was just as amazing. Very helpful and my kids enjoyed the breakfast!

Our stay was impeccable! Registration was awesome, the front desk clerk Kenny was super helpful and extremely polite. The premises were very quiet, and we felt safe. We simply liked this place. Overall nice, friendly staff, the hotel was not clean. The elevator was not clean, and a lot of the public areas had dirty floors, crumbs, and other debris around the hotel.
