Everything was better than we could have imagined!"Wilderness Cabin" is a large, beautiful cabin with newer, very comfortable, furnishings in all rooms and on both porches. The home is maintained to perfection. The host thought of everything to make the home perfect for our stay! Lots of great fishing, restaurants and attractions within 20-30 minutes. Our entire group was pleasantly surprised by the house, property, and proximity to fishing in Deckers and hiking in Cheesman Canyon. Loved the solitude and the proximity to nearby towns of Woodland Park and Manitou Springs/Colorado Springs. Read up on the Hayman fire before you go, and it will introduce you to another fascinating element of the area. Great area to stay and a wonderful property.

Disappointed that it was not near Pike's Peak. Very nice house with well appointed kitchen. Loved the outdoor hot tub, didn't have to dry bathing suits before flight next day. Would consider going back to enjoy the Woodland Park area.
