In need of a remodel

This property is in desperate need of a remodel, it is old and rundown. A year ago they tried to charge resort fees, this is no resort and this year they tried parking fees without telling anybody at booking or at check-in they are desperate to raise money, but they are not putting anything back into the hotel. Unfortunately, I was on a last-minute trip and couldn’t find anything else.

The hotel staff didn't clean all the rooms and therefore did not have the room we paid for, a junior suite, just a room with a couch with NO BEDDING and a king bed, not what we wanted or paid for! The hotel front desk said they don't like travelocity and the problem was caused by third party booking which just send to them the notice for a king room and not the junior suite we chose and paid for. We need some very appropriate answers at this time! Very Upset!!!!

Location to the Capital was great! The hotel itself felt forgotten and neglected. The parking garage was dirty and felt unsafe. It’s a shame because you can tell it was a great place at one time.

Some maintenance required

First room was worn and in need of maintenance, requested to move as the door to the adjoining room did not lock. 2nd room was not an improvement. Price was good at 60/night. But it was also a rundown motel 6 experience. Breakfast was $15.
