Good stay - breakfast was questionable

Quick check in Hotel was nice and convenient with many food options in the area. Bed was comfy Breakfast was something to be desired, the eggs were of a porridge consistency No lids for coffee Not many tables to sit at.

Clean, quiet, overpriced, terrible breakfast. However, the excellent staff make up for the shortcomings. If it wasn't so overpriced I'd definitely stay here again.

Fantastic location for Pine Knob. The room was clean staff were great. The common areas hall way etc were filthy. There was a flosser lying on floor in hallway and the vacuum had definitely not been used for a while in hallway.

This property canceled my reservation by trying to charge my card prior to the stay; I had chosen pay at the facility so this should not have happened. I booked this stay in January and the card that was a place holder was stolen between then and replaced. They contacted me with one poorly written and difficult to understand message on Expedia and gave me 3 hours to respond. They told us on concert days they do this often which is not in agreement with the Expedia terms I booked. We got no other correspondence. They canceled our room and we were without a place to stay after driving 2.5 hours and also with horribly rude front desk. Clearly by receiving this email they never even correspond with the Expedia booking service to cancel it that way either.

Room was ok. The hotel allowed guests to party beyond 5am blaring music. Couldn’t move rooms due to 100% capacity. Not happy that I paid almost $300 for a night to get less than an hour of sleep. Very unacceptable, especially since the hotel has posted “quiet hours” beginning at 10pm. It was exceeded by 7 hours…. Ridiculous

New hotel conveniently located off the highway and 1.5 miles from Pine Knob Music Theatre. Very quiet. Ample parking and a short walk to nearby restaurants. They wrote the breakfast menu for the following day on a board, which was nice. The free breakfast was egg fritattas and biscuits and gravy.
