Cookeville Super 8 (or 7)

The hotel room was in great condition. Clean. The grab-n-go selextions were plenty for the price. My issue was with linens. The bath, wash, and hand towels were horrible. They were very, very thin and the bath towels were too small and worn (overwashed). The floor mat towel was thicker than our bath towels. Invest in some newer towels.

My room was discussing! Hair all over our bed, white liquid on our comforter, what appeared body fluid all over the head board, bathroom door had writings on it and a big hole that had been kicked thru and they had tried to repair it with drywall purdy. We did not sleep and checked out at the first sign of daylight. Cutting our entire trip 2 days early. I did speak with the manager at check out and he promised to get with Expedia to refund our money. I’ve have not heard anything yet.

The desk chair had a broken back, couldn’t lean back in it. One broken lamp. Towels and wash cloths were badly stained. Looked like they were still dirty.

Nice stay

Great place for a one night stay on our way to Gatlinburg. Bed was the softest I’ve ever slept in. The shower had very little pressure so that’s my only complaint.
