Not aware that there are two Ute Casinos on the reservation, I reserved and guaranteed my reservation at this hotel, Ute Mountain Casino, thinking it was the one I went to, the Sky Ute Casino. Did not want to double back for the Ute Mountain casino so stayed at 'Sky' Ute Casino and forfeited my room at Ute Mountain casino. I take responsibility for the mishap but very confusing and frustrating. There was another couple who experienced the same.

Beautiful, clean hotel near to Mesa Verde. Alcohol -free property with friendly staff. Buffet dinner was reasonably priced and good selection. Would stay there again.

Overall, I would give the Ute Mountain Casino Hotel a four-star (good) rating. We felt safe on the property. The hotel and our individual rooms were clean. The staff, especially the housekeepers, were very friendly. On a negative note - I would not recommend the restaurant, Kuchu's. We ate there for breakfast, lunch, and dinner brunch and did not find the food to be very good. I would give the restaurant a three-star (average) rating. In regard to the casino, the gaming machines seemed to be tight, especially since we do good at similar Colorado casinos playing the same machines.

Kicked out of a paid for room.

We paid for 2 days and got kicked out after 1 day. Front desk could not help us and our room keys just stopped working. The maid walked into the bathroom of the room while my wife was in it. I would like my money back but I don't have time to fight the system , even though it was their mistake.
