It was a nice room. The bed was a little hard. The only thing to eat was the $20 buffet. It was a little too late for a buffet. I ended up getting sick after I ate.

Hotel looked nice, but the smell of cigarette smoke smacked me in the face at front door. Lady at reception was rude checking in and definitely checking out. There is no hospitality here. The room was nice, seemed clean. View from balcony was excellent. In the casino, the smoke smell irritated my eyes and lungs. There were no bells going off, no cheering cause nobody was winning here. Don't gamble here. No alcohol was served on premises (strange). Management was unwilling to accommodate my disabled senior mother's nutritional needs. Heart transplant patient with no immune system. All she wanted was a carton of milk. Said she had to pay for full buffet $12 and can't take anything back to the room. What's the microwave for then? Checked out, drove back to Cortez for breakfast.

Great little casino, has its perks. Location made it nice to spend the day at Mesa Verde with the teens, then have a wind down for adults. Only thing I could complain about is lobby smelled smoky, its a casino though.

I felt completely safe in the hotel and my room. There was an overwhelming amount of free parking around the entire building and the staff was extremely nice and pleasant. The hotel was extremely clean.

In town to visit. Stayed the night. Got some sleep and headed out. Nice little casino. The smell of cigarette smoke kinda turned it off. But at the same time, thats what made a casino a casino. The smoking room is next to the check in area. But the suite we stayed was nice. Not much for tv channels. The snack bar was good. I didnt gamble so dont know the odds.

Great place, but don't believe children will leave the pool area around 9pm. They don't enforce the rules and kids splash you and the staff won't do anything about it if you asked about it.

The rooms were great. It’s odd tho that you cannot consume alcohol in your room. Do not eat at the buffet!!!!! I had to inform the staff that the cottage cheese was molding and the salad was beyond its freshness, ie slimy and brown. They did change it out. they use the same food at lunch and at dinner. The hot food was not hot.

The positives of this property were the cost and the indoor pool. There were limited dining experiences, the staff multiple times said they were out of things at the cafe. When my family and I did eat at the buffet they sat us at the entrance to the restrooms even though there were plenty of tables. The room was labeled “VIP”, which was exciting for my family and I but when we checked in we found out that we were in the ground level and all the cleaning carts were lined up right outside the elevator and along the hallway. Our rooms sliding door was unlocked upon arrival and then one of the drawers to the dresser was stuck. Nothing “VIP” about this room. It is located in the middle of Shiprock and Cortez. I’d say drive the extra 25 miles to Cortez for more options.
