Great hotel!!!

As soon as I arrived, the respectable valet men treated me and my family like princesses. The hotel is beautiful and all the workers were very accommodating. Front desk gave us lots of laughs, recommendations of food and entertainment.

The stay was excellent, the only complaint I have is that it was daylight saving and the time moved up an hour so we lost an hour and I called the front to get a late check out and I was told no I had to get out at 11, I spent good money all I wanted was to get my hour, in reality I checked out at 10 so I don’t know if I’ll be back

The 1st down fall is we requested towels and the room to be cleaned while we went to lunch, around 11:30. We returned back to the room around 2, no towels nor had the room been cleaned. We called downstairs again and was told that they would send someone. We took a nap, woke up at 5:45 and no one had come. Called back downstairs and asked if we needed to get towels and linens ourselves. We were told that they had to find someone to bring what we needed. Someone finally came about 30 minutes later bringing towels, but didn’t change the sheets nor clean the room. We cleaned the room ourselves and just slept in the other bed. The 2nd down fall was on the room description, it stated that there was a standing shower in the bathroom. Our room had a tub/shower combo which is what we didn’t want. Based on the description we thought we paid the price to avoid having the tub/shower combo like other hotels did. Had we known this is what we were getting, we could have booked another hotel with that same feature at a lesser rate.The shower curtain had a reddish brown stain which appeared to be dried blood, so we showered with the curtain open. This is the main reason why we wanted a standing shower only, to avoid dealing with shower curtains. The positive is the convenience of the restaurant and bar options, which worked in our favor because it started to rain and the plan was to talk the district.
