Pros: Direct access to beach. Decent ocean view room for family of 4. Kitchenette. Comfy beds. Missed the breakfast this hotel used to have. (Last visited in 2019.) Coffee bar now in it’s place. Cons: “Pressure wash” shower in rm. 509. Bathroom fan wasn’t totally effective. Water constantly drained out of bathroom toward the front door after showers. Had to park across the street due to inadequate parking. Not enough towels (Asked for 1 more at front desk. Was told they ran out?? Given a beach towel & sent on my way.) Cookie sheet in oven hadn’t been cleaned & had remnants of a previous guest’s food.

Hotel was clean, rooms were spacious. We had an ocean front room but you would have thought it was ocean front. Staff was friendly and efficient. Will definitely stay here again.

This property is like a little oasis in an area that obviously has a few issues. Both properties on either side of the Nautilus suffered severe damage in the last batch of hurricanes to hit the area. One property looks as if someone is trying to make repairs, but this will be no easy feat, as the damage is substantial. The property on the other side looks as if it could be condemned. Adjacent to that property, there was construction underway to install a seawall on a vacant lot. Now that being said, we had a room on the side where the construction was occurring, and with the doors/sliders closed, you could not hear the noise. According to the lobby staff, the Nautilus also sustained some hurricane damage, but repairs have been made, and you would never know. The hotel is spotless, the staff is friendly, and they go out of their way to make your stay as pleasant as possible. The only complaint I have with the property is that the hot tub does not work properly. We've stayed at this hotel several times and the hot tub has always had problems. My feeling is fix it or don't advertise it as an amenity. The pool, however, is perfect You need a car if you're planning on eating out or use a delivery service, since there is no restaurant within walking distance. There are two supermarkets, and since the rooms have full kitchens this is less of a problem than you would think

Waking up to that ocean view is priceless! And just the fact of walking down the hallways and getting in the elevator’s without the awful smell of marijuana or cigarette smoke was amazing. Beautiful property with a lovely staff.! I will be back!

The lobby area and amenities were both clean and well managed /10 floors and elevator was prompt .Room was clean and balcony with ocean view and surf sounds were both relaxing and scenic would definitely go again

We found the accommodations to fit our needs perfectly with easy access to the beach, lifeguard right there, and convenient location to restaurants boardwalk etc. my only complaint is that it appears several items of furniture in our room are water damaged, particularly the mirrors in BR and BA, and the end tables were literally disintegrating with little piles of wood on the carpet when I moved them

This was a great place to stay. The staff at the front desk were very friendly. The maid did not make our beds one morning and just piled the towels on the counter. That was not a big deal, but still. Need more help maybe? I did see one bug in the bathroom. If I saw another one, I would have called. The room itself was good. The bathroom needed to be updated. Kind of run down. The access to the beach was great. Overall we would possibly stay there again. Price was decent.
