We enjoyed our stay at the Hampton in Canton. Very convenient to everything. It’s near the highway, lots of food, restaurant, choices, shopping, everything you need is right there available. We loved the location and it was near our friends also.

There were 4 plus 2 small dogs in the deluxe room for 3 days. There was plenty of room for all of us. There were 3 sleeping arrangements which worked perfectly for us. Having a 13 and 11 year olds try and share a queen bed is often a nightmare for everyone. The only thing they argued about was who was going to sleep where. Breakfast was delicious. The first morning the waffle maker didn't have a sign saying do not use and someone used it causing more of a delay in getting it up and running again. There were other food options like eggs, sausage, potatoes, cereal, oatmeal, and multiple choices for drinks. The website said there was a pool and hot tub which is why we picked this particular place. By boys were begging to go and my wife decided to get ready and take them down. They walked past a few employees on the was down and was quickly disappointed. The entire area was closed as they're filling the hot tub with cement. At any time someone could have stopped and let them know the pool was closed. There was no mistake in what they were about to do. They were in bathing suits in the middle of a snow storm. Overall the trip was good and I recommend getting the deluxe room!

The toilet ran all night and then in the morning the toilet clogged. Tried to call the front desk, but the phone in the room didn’t work. No dial tone whatsoever. Went down to get a plunger, plunged the toilet for an hour, still didn’t unclog. Had to go to lobby to use the restroom. TV didn’t work when I got to the room. Had to play around with connection on back of TV and the input and finally got it working.

The room was clean and as I need a handicap room had plenty of space for me to get around unlike previous handicap rooms I have stayed in. I primarily use a walker to get around but brought my scooter on this trip as well as my walker. While my scooter stayed in my dads van while we were there I would have had plenty of room to bring my scooter in the room. The bathroom was huge and easy to get around in. The only things that could have made the room better would be if the bathroom had a few more grab bars and the handheld shower hose was longer.

I actually didn't end up staying here. But the guy at the front desk was so nice. Unfortunately the pool was not open due to construction and that was the only reason we were staying in a hotel. We ended up going somewhere else and I promise it was not as good as it would have been at the Hampton. Bummer for us. But I am very grateful to the guy workings kindness in letting me cancel so I could treat my kids to a swim adventure even if it wasn't with them.
