Beautiful balcony view of the lake. The staff absolutely amazing, helpful and friendly. Breakfast was delicious everyday. We had dinner there one night and it was fantastic as well. This will be our forever spot every time we are in Detroit Lakes

We reserved a "standard room" so didn't necessarily expect a lake view, but we were surprised to find that our window opened on to the second floor of a hallway, so that our view was a wall 6-8 feet away. If you looked down, you could see a little bit of natural light coming from another hall to the outside. Otherwise the room was nice. The food at breakfast was quite poor - we had waffles. Probably wouldn't choose this place again because of these two things.

The hotel was incredibly loud, with the pool open until 11pm we could hear people playing music and being loud until 11pm at the pool. Would not stay again.

We ate supper and breakfast here. Food was excellent. Portions were huge...probably could have shared! Very quiet and clean. Our room faced the lake. Reminded me of being on our cruise! Definitely will go back if im in the area.
